COLLECTION '98

The Collection 1998 consists of products designed for a small producer, all products can be produced in relatively small series because the techniques used are simple, with low start-up or mould costs. The goal in designing this collection was to use this 'simplicity' to the benefit of the design and at the same time question some of the 'complicated' products I see around me by showing an alternative.

This collection, the first collection for the Optic ® brand, was launched on the first Dutch Individuals-show on the parking lot of Studio Mendini at the Salone del Mobile Milan 1998.
